The Oscars of the Donegal Business World

We are delighted to announce the DNK Media productions will be working with Letterkenny Chamber and The Donegal News on the Letterkenny Business Awards 2015. We will be filming and editing a 30 sec promotional video for each of the businesses short-listed across all eight categories. The vidoes will be shown during the awards ceremony at the Chamber Annual Gala Ball in November. We look forward to working with all the local businesses which have been shortlisted for the awards.

THE RACE – 24 hours – 250kms

theraceThe Race – 24 hours, 250 km on a wet and windy March 7th 2014 over 60 athletes took to the hills of Donegal . The Race is a 250 km unsupported endurance event across the rugged landscape of North West Donegal. To finish competitors have to complete 15km of kayaking (this section was omitted on the day due to adverse weather conditions), 166km of cycling, 5km of mountain running and 64km of road and trail running. It is the ultimate 24 hour test of endurance.

We documented Gavin Harris’s epic journey on foot and saddle around the wilds of Donegal in hostile weather conditions. A short documentary is currently in production.
